I am a second-year Ph.D. student at Sound and Music Computing Lab, fortunate to be supervised by Prof. Ye Wang. I am affiliated to Integrative Sciences and Engineering Programme and School of Computing.

Prior to that, I received my M.Eng from National University of Singapore in 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Chee-Kong Chui. In 2020, I received my B.Eng in Energy and Power Engineering and B.Litt in Musicology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

My research interest lies at the intersection of music information retrieval and machine learning. Specifically, I am currently working on (i) automatic singing voice transcription; (ii) automatic piano transcription; and (iii) expressive performance rendering.

Besides, I play the piano (mostly pop songs) and I am learning to play the guitar. You can find some of my performances on bilibili and our lab’s concerts. Additionally, I enjoy playing non-competitive games, such as Ori, Stardew Valley and Genshin Impact.
